STM32MP2 microprocessor series with up to dual Arm Cortex®-A35 and Cortex®-M33 cores
The STM32MP2 series can now support you to design richer applications with enhanced performance more security and advanced edge AI capabilities.
The series is specifically designed to fit the needs of Industry 4.0 applications, including smart factories, cities, and buildings, as well as for advanced HMI applications.
This second generation of STM32 application processors opens the door to higher performances with a 64-bit platform now, specifically designed for industrial applications requiring chip robustness in a connected and secure environment.
- The STM32MP2 supports the growth of connected applications with extended connectivity:
- Ethernet switch
- TSN support
- PCIe
- USB3
- LVDS, DSI, and parallel as display interfaces
- Camera interfaces (CSI, parallel), with image signal processor (ISP)
This product offers advanced edge AI capabilities with its NPU accelerator and the flexibility to run AI applications on either the CPU, GPU, or NPU. Additionally, it supports high-end edge computing use cases, such as machine vision, through its multimedia capabilities. This is enabled by the whole ST edge AI ecosystem offer.
It supports a wide junction temperature range, from - 40°C to 125°C, making it ideal for industrial and harsh environments.

Product types
The STM32MP2 series is available in seven different lines, which are pin-to-pin compatible. Each line features a security option (cryptography and secure boot with TrustZone®). The STM32MP2 product lines feature up to dual Arm Cortex®-A35 cores operating at up to 1.5 GHz, along with an Arm Cortex®-M33 core at 400 MHz.
The STM32MP2 lines come in four packages: TFBGA 436 (18x18 mm), TFBGA 361 (16x16 mm), VFBGA 424 (14x14 mm), and VFBGA 361 (10x10 mm).
