Digital Power Workbench
Digital Power Workbench takes the unknowns out of designing and prototyping for even the most sophisticated power conversion topologies
The Digital Power Workbench speeds up the design of high power solutions, identifies the most suitable power devices, suggests gate drivers and analog parts, and generates STM32 firmware code from your design specifications. The firmware is compatible with various IDEs and ensures full solution control according to your requirements.
The digital power workbench provides a reliable, step-by-step design process for the power stage section of a converter solution, allowing engineers to achieve the expected power efficiency requirements and power loss distributions, along with optimized selection of power components.
It provides different hardware and software bricks to help designers develop sophisticated digital power converter topologies, while also showing easy-to-read graphs such as Bode plots, steady-state or transient response, and efficiency.
New on the market, it provides an optimized design phase for the power and control stage section, solving the most challenging tasks to achieve the desired closed-loop performance. It allows to simulate the signal conditioning section in the time domain and in the frequency domain ensuring robustness in the control system.
Based on the power/control stage customizations, the digital power workbench generates customized STM32 firmware code that is compatible with multiple STM32 IDEs and fully controls the solutions according to your needs.
Integrated into the eDesignSuite tool, the digital power workbench empowers deeper design qualification and prototyping, starting from user specifications and topology selection.
The new Digital Power Workbench supports highly demanding PFC topologies both for single-phase applications, such as the interleaved Totem-Pole PFC with ZVS or CCM digital control, and three-phase applications such as the Vienna Rectifier and the bidirectional three-level T-type converter. It supports the high power and largely requested DC-DC topologies such-us LLC and bidirectional DAB. Many others will come soon.
Digital Power Workbench facilitates analog designers to migrate to digital power solutions helping with digitally controlled architectures, firmware development, and MCU configuration.
Digital Power Workbench provides a single design workspace for a more intuitive and smarter UI where engineers can customize all the design aspects, achieve deeper design qualification, and get all SW/HW BOM and performance analysis. It bridges with the STM32Cube environment and multiple IDEs.
The Digital Power Workbench speeds up the design of digital high-power applications by providing hardware and software solutions to optimize both the power and control stage development. It eventually generates customized STM32 firmware code that is compatible with multiple STM32 IDEs and fully controls the solutions according to your needs.
