SPC58 C-line 32-bit general-purpose automotive MCUs
for body, in-car networking and vehicle connectivity applications
A competitive and flexible solution for secure connectivity in automotive applications, SPC58 C-line MCUs support the ASIL-B safety standard as well as EVITA medium security level for on-board architecture and communication protocols such as Ethernet with Audio Video Bridging (AVB) capability.
In addition to being available in a wide range of packages, our SPC58 MCUs benefit from a complete development ecosystem that includes a smart selector, our SPC5-Studio development environment, and a full range of hardware and software development and evaluation tools.
Evaluation board
Low-cost, ready-to-use board gives full access to all GPIOs and peripherals including communication interfaces. Dedicated connectors allow use of Arduino UNO-compatible shields making it easy to expand the board's functions.
The board includes an integrated programmer/debugger for use via SPC5-STUDIO and an additional JTAG port is also available.
Evaluation board
Low-cost, ready-to-use board gives full access to all GPIOs and peripherals including communication interfaces. The board includes a debugger-programmer from PLS, a JTAG connector and extension headers to connect prototyping boards or additional modules.
Free ready-to-run application firmware examples are available via SPC5Studio to support quick evaluation and development.
Software
SPC5-STUDIO is an Eclipse plug-in development environment offering a very intuitive and customizable framework to build and deploy embedded applications for SPC5 Power architecture 32-bit microcontrollers.
Integrating software development tools, device configuration tools and example code, SPC5-STUDIO is a complete solution to speed up project development
Development tool
StellarLINK is a cost-effective, passive USB-to-JTAG debugger and programmer dongle for automotive MCUs, supporting the whole family of Stellar MCUs, SR5 and SR6, as well as the traditional SPC5 microcontrollers.
