Turn on TrustZone on the STM32U5 and see how security tools can help manage and setup your security solution for you
TrustZone is a great feature in the new Arm Cortex M cores that support it. It enables system architects to separate their code into trusted code in the Secure World, that sets up the protected environment so that the main application can run in the Non-Secure World. Using Non-Secure-Callable gateway memory ports so that the Non-Secure application can request the services of the Secure World support functions can take some work, which may take additional time to navigate unfamiliar security details. Setting up this Secure World may be a learning curve to figure out the complete security implementation.

Rotational measurements with resolvers – energize the input phase with TSB582
Rotary resolvers are the preferred solution for reliable rotary position sensing in industrial and automotive applications - harsh environments characterized by high temperature, vibration, humidity, and systems contaminated by dust or oil. Rotary resolvers are passive transducers that must be energized with an AC voltage; typically, two single-channel power op amps or high-current drivers built from discrete components are used. With two high-power op amps in one package, the TSB582 is able to reduce PCB space and lower BOM cost, while providing short-circuit protection and enhanced thermal performance. This session will present example applications, detail rotary resolver architecture, and system-level implementation using the TSB582 to drive the excitation sine-wave input, as well as signal conditioning requirements on the return path.
