Electronic Development

Through close collaboration with EMS worldwide, we ensure the shortest time to market.

For IoT products, EKTOS offers simulation, calculation, and practical matching and adjustment of antennas up to 6 GHz. Our team of experts can deliver complex PCB antennas or setups of patch antennas, utilizing professional vector SAs and SGs to ensure quality and cost-effective designs.

Hardware Design Services

EKTOS has extensive experience in designing intricate digital, analog, and mixed circuits, ranging from double-sided PCBs to 12-layer PCBs. Our expertise covers low-frequency digital electronics to GHz-clocked digital processing modules.

Software Design Services

Firmware Development

EKTOS provides cost-effective and professional development of embedded software/firmware using C/C++, Assembler, and Rust, including profiling, testing, and integration with hardware. We can develop in accordance with their in-house model or the customer's model, and prioritize functional safety in the development process.

EKTOS offers comprehensive testing and verification services, ranging from manual testing to fully automated closed-loop test environments. We can also develop unit-tests for software under development or already developed, and support functional safety, security, and market regulations.

EKTOS can assist in designing and implementing simple standalone IDE installations or containerized and fully automated CI/CD pipelines. Our team can identify the required toolchains, describe the processes, and provide code guidelines to the development team.

Technical Project and Product Management

Electro-mechanical development

EKTOS offers development and maturity services for the electromechanical parts and components of products, including mechanical development within areas of mold creation, die-casting of Alu parts, custom heatsinks, cables, and harnesses. We can assist with startup products with first batch 3D prints or counter freight controlled by UL parts sourced overseas. EKTOS can be a partner to ensure success.

PCB assembly and testing

EKTOS' Electronic Manufacturing Service has been delivering PCB assemblies that comply with the world's highest soldering quality standard - IPC-A-610 class 2 and 3 - for years now. In addition to conventional PCB assembly, we offer to test PCBAs according to customer specifications. This is done using custom-made rigs or an EKTOS-developed automated Product Test System (PTS), which allows for fast and efficient testing of essential features chosen by customers and ensures very affordable CAPEX during the product market intro phase.

EKTOS has a conventional electronics, medico, and power electronics assembly specialization.

• Medico: EKTOS is an ISO13485-certified company that is capable of PCB level and whole product level assembly services. Ensuring a dust-free assembly zone allows to assembly of demanding products.
• Power: EKTOS has a variety of tools and techniques to assemble high-power electronics (up to 30 kW) including test-benches, electrical training facilities, etc.

EKTOS offers the whole cycle of electronics manufacturing: from the components sourcing to the box-build assembly, end-of-line testing, and packaging and marketing materials print-out.
