IEEE Milestone - ST Multiple Silicon Technologies on a Chip
On May 18th there was a live dedication ceremony at the STMicroelectronics site in Agrate, Italy for the award of a prestigious IEEE milestone recognizing the invention by STMicroelectronics of Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) technology. The historic event featured the award presentation and plaque unveiling accompanied by testimonials from key people behind the invention and development of BCD, as well as insights into how ST is investing in the future of Smart Power technologies.
The IEEE Milestones in Electrical Engineering and Computing program honors significant technical achievements in all areas associated with IEEE. Milestones recognize the technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity found in unique products, services, seminal papers, and patents.
