During this one-hour webinar, we will present different solutions for touchless applications based on our ST Time-of-Flight (ToF) proximity and long ranging sensors. Typical applications include use cases like social distancing, gesture control, contactless operation or people counting.

At the end of this webinar, you will understand why ST FlightSense Time-of-Flight proximity sensors are the perfect products to address such use-cases, and which sensor best fits your application needs.

We will help you evaluate our sensors and explain where to find design resources and software code examples.

The four Time-of-Flight sensors that we will present are:

VL6180V1: proximity sensor up to 60cm
VL53L3CX: proximity and ranging sensor with multi-target detection (Histogram) up to 3m
VL53L1CX: long distance ranging sensor up to 4m
VL53L1CB: long distance ranging sensor with multi-zone and multi-target detection (Histogram) up to 3.2m

Webinar agenda

  • Introduction to ST FlightSense™ Time-of-Flight technology
  • Description of various use-cases for touchless interactions
  • Time-of-Flight proximity sensors, presentation and key benefits
  • Special focus on gesture recognition, with video and software code example
  • Development tools and ordering codes

The webinar is followed by a live Q&A session where ST’s experienced engineers have answered to the Participants' questions.
