Social Media Services Settings. If you choose to connect to the Services via a third-party platform or social media network, you may have the ability to limit the information that we may obtain from the third-party at the time you login to the Services using the third-party’s authentication service or otherwise connect your account. For example, you may access and change your settings through the Facebook settings page for Apps and Websites. If you withdraw our ability to access certain information from a third-party platform or social media network, that choice will not apply to information that we have already received from that third-party.
Using Privacy Plug-ins or Browsers. This Privacy Information Notice (the “Notice”) informs you about how STMicroelectronics International N.V. (also referred as we or us in this Notice) processes information it collects about you as part of the Partner Marketing Agreement we have signed with your employer. It sets out what kind of personal data we collect about you, how we process them, and what are your rights in relation to such collection.
The purpose of this privacy information notice is to inform you of the processing of personal information when you interact with our WeChat official account registered by STMicroelectronics China Investment Co., Ltd., and STMicroelectronics (Shenzhen) R&D Co., Ltd., with WeChat International Pte. Ltd (hereafter the “Account”).
We need to have access to and to process the following personal data: Professional contact details: name and surname, title, professional telephone number, professional email address.
The collection of your professional contact details is done via your employer.
We collect, use, store and process your professional contact details to support the Activity Plan subject matter of the Partner Marketing Agreement we have signed with your employer.
More precisely we process your professional contact details for the following purposes:
- To keep you informed on STMicroelectronics news.
- To keep you informed on our products and services related to the agree upon Activity Plan.
Your professional contact details we collect will be processed under our control
Data processing activities will only be handled by staff members with a legitimate need to access the personal data, for the purposes described above.
Your professional contact details are kept until the finalization of the Partner Marketing Agreement.
Data protection and security are key considerations for us. We have assigned specific responsibilities to address privacy and security related matters. We take appropriate measures to address online security, physical security, risk of data loss, alteration or unauthorized access taking into consideration the risk represented by the processing and the nature of the data being protected.
Also, we limit access to the databases containing your professional contact details to authorized persons having a legitimate interest to access such information, pursuant to the purposes described above.
With respect to the processing of your professional contact details, you have the right to be informed and have access to your professional contact details, as well as the right to rectification, erasure and to object to the processing.

If you consider that we have not complied with the data protection laws applicable (including the GDPR) or that your rights have been infringed as the result of the processing of your personal data, you have the right of recourse via email message sent to privacy@st.com

Third-party services are web-based technologies that are not exclusively operated or controlled by ST. ST uses third-party services to assist it in communicating or interacting with the public. These services may be separate websites or may be applications embedded within our websites. Some third parties provide these services to ST under contract.
