Automotive-qualified, single-channel VIPower M0-9 high-side switches

Smart switches featuring state-of-the-art embedded control functions and a new protection mechanism for all load types and power ratings

With excellent current sensing precision and extremely low voltage capability for deep cold cranking applications, these drivers are manufactured using ST proprietary VIPower M0-9 technology and housed in a PowerSSO-16 package that is fully pin-to-pin compatible with M0-7 devices.

Designed to drive 12 V automotive grounded loads through a 3 V and 5 V CMOS-compatible interface, these HSDs integrate advanced diagnostics and protective functions such as load current limitation, overload active management by power limitation and overtemperature shutdown with configurable latch-off.
