Involvement in Industry Associations and Non-Profit Organizations
ST actively participates in a variety of industry associations and public policy-related non-profit organizations to foster industry dialogue and promote development.
The subjects covered include technology innovation, corporate governance, environmental sustainability, human rights, and supply chain management.
In 2023, ST was involved in numerous industry associations and non-profit organizations both domestically and internationally, with total expenditures of about $2.48 million dedicated to these efforts.

ST’s President and CEO, Jean-Marc Chery sits on the Board of Directors at the Global Semiconductor Alliance and France Industrie and serves as Chairman of the France – Malaysia Business Council at MEDEF International. Previously, Chery was President of the European microelectronics R&D program AENEAS and served as President of the European Semiconductor Industry Association in 2019-2021. Furthermore, numerous ST employees actively participate in advancing the semiconductor industry and its associated professional bodies by assuming key roles such as chairpersons, vice-chairs, or board members, as well as serving on various committees and working groups.
