NFC is a wireless technology enabling contactless communication between a reader and a tag.
Embedded either in goods or parcels, a dynamic NFC tag is coupled with environmental sensors and a low-power microcontroller. The dynamic NFC tag is a passive (and battery less) electronic component that combines a nonvolatile memory and wireless connectivity capacities. This participates in building a reusable and cost-effective condition monitoring solution.
On the other side, an NFC reader wirelessly powers the tag and reads its content. Depending on the application, users can leverage industrial readers or smartphones with NFC capabilities.
