ST's portfolio of automotive diodes is qualified to the AEC-Q101 standard and is intended for DC-DC converters used in numerous automotive functions. Most of these dedicated diodes are guaranteed in operation at junction temperatures as low as -40 °C and as high as +175 °C. The automotive-grade diodes belong to our STPOWER family.
The extension Y is used in the part number to identify the automotive version for a given rectifier.
The new Dual diodes in PSMC package provide ideal solution for high-performance DC/DC converters and auxiliary power supplies. Available in low forward voltage drop Schottky and Ultrafast diodes they offer a fine-tuned portfolio to address space constrained environment.
A special screening matrix is implemented on these automotive-grade products at die and finished product levels, in order to comply with the most stringent international automotive quality requirements.
