16-bit rad-hard QML-V level shifter
ST's latest generation of QML-V qualified 16-bit bidirectional, dual-supply, level shifters come with fail safe and cold spare features. They are designed to interface 1.8V and 3.3V buses as well as 2.5V to 5V buses in low power supply domains, while ensuring excellent immunity to radiation.
The RHRAC164245, qualified at 100 krad(Si) total-ionizing-dose (TID), allows 16-bit bus interfaces as low as 2.3 Volts and up to 5.5 Volts, while the RHFXH163245, certified at 300 krad(Si) TID, interfaces 16-bit buses down to 1.8 Volts and up to 3.6 Volts.

Both products are immune to Single Event Latchup (SEL) up to 110 MeV.cm2/mg. They have a very low propagation time and feature fail safe (I/Os get in high impedance in case the product fails) and cold spare input and output buffers. These make them the industry's references for space applications.
Like all ST Space products, these rad-hard level shifters are assembled in ST's Rennes (FR) facility in ceramic hermetic packages. They are QML-V qualified, with specific variants with grounded lid, therefore without floating metal parts.
All devices come with an ecosystem that includes complete datasheets, application notes, and radiation test reports (upon request) as well as PSpice and IBIS models.
