Electronic shelf labels

Overview
To ensure prices displayed on store shelves are always accurate or to instantly launch promotional campaigns, the use of Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs) is now widespread in grocery stores. Based on LCD or electronic paper (e-INK) display technologies, the key factor is battery life, which can be as high as 10 years. ESLs can also include an NFC interface to enable customer engagement, parameter configuration and firmware uploads. Read more
