Point of sales and retail logistics

Electronic Point of Sale (ePOS) equipment include products used in the electronic processing of financial transactions in the retail, hospitality and banking markets. The different products in this space are card payment terminals and electronic cash registers.  The point of sale (POS) is the last step of a complex logistics process ending with a sales transaction. Merchandise is tracked at warehouses and retail outlets by reading barcodes and RFID tags. Barcode scanners and HF and UHF RFID readers are widely used for this purpose.  In addition, currency detectors such as coin and bill validators are used to protect against the acceptance of counterfeit cash used for payment at points of sale, including self-checkout machines.
