To accelerate the evaluation and development of applications, an extensive range of embedded software is available for developers from ST as well as a large group of 3rd party partners. Most software can be downloaded on the following pages at no charge, while others are available from our partners' websites.
Libraries, code snippets, middleware, codecs and protocol stacks are increasingly provided in firmware packages to assist in the development process by enabling software development with a certain level of abstraction from the register level of the hardware.
In addition to embedded software for the STM32, STM8, SPC5 and legacy MCUs and MPUs, ST also provides in this section software to accelerate the evaluation and development of many of its products including the ST25 NFC / RFID products, MEMS and sensors, Motor Control, Audio and Secure MCUs.
