Into the 6th edition, the Industrial-Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC - a HANNOVER MESSE event (ITAP 2023) will showcase a wide range of exhibitors, informative sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities as we continue to drive innovation and promote the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

Designed and curated to help companies in Asia-Pacific to START, SCALE, and SUSTAIN their adoption of Industry 4.0 processes and solutions. ITAP brings together the ecosystem of players and stakeholders across the value chain to learn, share, collaborate, network, and do business with each other.

The event offers comprehensive content-rich learning avenues and themed activity zones for companies at various stages of business transformation to explore, collaborate and co-create solutions to future-proof their businesses. Cohesively, ITAP brings together a self-contained ecosystem and helps build a professional community for end-to-end engagements among I4.0 practitioners, technology & solution providers, industrial companies, component manufacturers, software companies, manufacturing solutions suppliers, and service companies & consultancies, and start-ups.

Booth 2A23
The ST booth will be showing more than 10 demos addressing Factory Automation solutions with IO-Link System,  Wireless Connectivity, Connected Security, STM32 for Industrial Applications, as well as Predictive Maintenance & Power Management.

See below for selected demo highlights:

LoRaWAN Smart Water Meter by Sindcon: In this demo you will see the Sindcon retrofit transmission of water reading via LoRaWAN. With the STM32WLE5, Sindcon’s retrofitted meters contain an advanced battery management system that can support accurate remote readings for up to 10 years.

Compact Production Line with IO-Link System: This automated products line demonstrates ST total solution application in a Smart Factory. This production line uses IO-Link technology to manage the digital input/output, sensors, and solenoid air valve driver. Modules include: Digital IO boards, sensor boards, and actuator boards from ST Automation Competence Center’s reference demo boards. The factory automation with IO-Link technical can increase production efficiency dramatically, save power and energy, to contribute to carbon neutrality.

Motor drive using STM32G4: STM32G4 motor control kit provide a platform for designing and evaluating 3-phase low voltage DC brushless motor solution. The platform firmware library includes examples for sensor-less and motor control with sensor, as well as support for field-oriented control (FOC) and sinusoidal PWM

Fully Protected USB Power Delivery with STM32+TCPP: The panel demonstrates the multiple USB-C PD use cases on STM32+TCPP (Type-C Port Protection) by using dedicated NUCLEO and X-NUCLEO boards: With X-NUCLEO-SNK1M1, it demonstrates the ability to negotiate PDO as a sink With X-NUCLEO-DRP1M1 it demonstrates the ability to negotiate PDO switching its power role as sink, when connected to X-NUCLEO-SRC1M1, or as source when connected to X-NUCLEO-SNK1M1 or to an external sink device. With the X-NUCLEO-SRC1M1, it demonstrates the ability to charge a device negotiating PDO (X-NUCLEO-SNK1M1, X-NUCLEO-DRP1M1 or an external sink device).

LoRaWAN Street light by AVNET: One of the applications for LoRaWAN will be for controlling and monitoring of street lights. In this demo you will see STM32WL used in a NEMA controller for controlling and monitoring of street lights. AVNET ADS team used STM32WL to design the NEMA controller for street lights.
