Data Privacy Information Notice for Microsoft® Teams
- Three required personal data: First name, Last name, and Email.
- Other personal data that are not required but you choose to share with us
Note that Automated decision-making or profiling is not used.
You may be able to use the chat function in the online webinar. To this extent, the text entries you make are processed to display them in the “online meeting”. To enable the display of video and the playback of audio, the data from the microphone of your terminal device and from any video camera of the terminal device will be processed for the duration of the meeting. You can switch off or mute the camera or microphone yourself at any time during the online webinar.
If a recording is going to take place on the day you are in attendance, you are informed in the invitation to attend and on the day of recording the session (normally verbally) prior to any recording taking place.
Please ensure you are aware that anything else that may be in the background could be recorded. You can on Microsoft teams put up a background to stop any additional pictures of your home being recorded.
The Microsoft teams recordings will be made available to individuals that work for STMicroelectronics legal entities located in different countries of the world. Also, note that Microsoft may process personal data as a data controller in connection with what Microsoft considers its own legitimate business operations.
The recording will be kept for as long as it is deemed up to date and useful for the service, no longer than three (3) years. It will be appropriately and securely deleted when no longer required.
You have the choice to attend the online webinar or not. If you attend, you are consenting to having your video image/voice recorded. If you have on your camera during the online webinar event or ask a verbal question. It is possible the recording will also pick up your writing in the chat part of Microsoft teams. We need to be clear that you are fully aware of this when you agree to attend and take part in the online webinar recorded session.
