Real-time activity recognition and carrying position add-on software libraries
The osxMotionAR provides real-time information on user activity (stationary, walking, fast walking, jogging, biking and driving).The osxMotionCP provides real-time recognition of board position (on desk, in hand, near head, shirt pocket, trouser pocket and arm swing; i.e. typical mobile phone carrying positions). The osxMotionGR provides real-time information on phone-related gestures such as wake up, glance and pick up.
Both libraries run on the STM32 platform and rely on data captured byan LSM6DS0 or LSM6DS3 inertial sensor. Their advanced activity recognition and carrying position algorithms use the lowest sampling frequency to help reduce the power consumption of the hosting platform.
