ST's ESCC qualified rad-hard current mode PWM controllers provide an industry standard solution for the implementation of off-line or DC to DC fixed-frequency current mode control schemes with a minimal external part count. They are specifically designed for space applications including satellite constellations.
The ST1843 (100% duty cycle, qualified at 50 krad(Si)) and ST1845 (50% duty cycle, qualified at 100 krad(Si) are both SEL free up to 120 MeV.cm2/mg at 125 °C.
ESCC certified as 9108/020 (ST1843) and 9108/021 (ST1845), both products are available in a Flat-8 hermetic ceramic package.
