概要
EVAL-L9963E-MCUは、車載用バッテリ･マネージメントIC「L9963E」の評価ボードです。48Vバッテリ･マネージメント･システム（BMS）の開発用、または分散型BMSのベース・ノードとして使用できます（合計バッテリ電圧によって異なる。EVAL-L9963E-NDSで拡張基盤を追加可能）。
EVAL-L9963E-MCUは、セル電圧検知用に最大14チャネル、電流検知用に1チャネル、温度検知用に最大4つのアナログ入力（およびPCB温度検知用の追加オンボードNTC）に接続可能です。また、STSW-L9963E PC GUI（グラフィカル･ユーザ･インタフェース）を動作させるファームウェアがプリロードされたマイクロコントローラを搭載しています。

- 直列接続された4個～14個のセルを測定し、サンプル間の非同期化遅延は0μs。バスバー接続にも対応
- イグニッション・オン / オフどちらの状態でもパック過電流検出に対応するクーロン･カウンタを搭載
- 完全同期された電流および電圧サンプリング
- 16bitの電圧測定
- バッファを活用した2.66Mbpsの絶縁シリアル通信、デュアル･アクセス･リングにも対応
- トランス･ベースの絶縁
- NTC検知用に最大4つのアナログ入力と、PCB温度検知
- 自動車シャーシ & セーフティ･アプリケーション向けの車載用32bitマイクロコントローラSPC574S64E3（Power Architecture®ベース）を搭載
- マイクロコントローラ電源としてL9001レギュレータを搭載
- ホット･プラグ専用回路
