During this training, you learn about the features of new generation mesh networks based on the 6TiSCH protocol and practical aspects of creating communication software for IoT devices.
Wireless communication is an important feature of many devices today. There are many well-known options available in the market such as wi-fi, Bluetooth, LoRaWAN®, ZigBee and the like. In addition to them, alternative standards have been developed for several years, based on new, reliable communication techniques in mesh networks based on the IPv6 protocol 6LoWPAN. During the workshop, we present practical tools in the form of development boards with the STM32WL microcontroller by MASTERS as well as the embeNET protocol stack, enabling the implementation of reliable wireless connectivity in a highly scalable mesh network based on IPv6.
During the training:
- you learn about the features of new generation mesh networks based on the 6TiSCH protocol,
- you learn practical aspects of creating communication software for IoT devices, and the planned exercises allow you to launch a simple MESH communication network
- you check how to reliably connect end devices to various IoT platforms using the MQTT protocol.
- you learn about new technologies and trends in the field of communication on the market
In addition, we present the combined offer of MASTERS and EMBETECH to support your design activities. We will also try to answer all your questions, and we show those interested how to create communication software for networks composed of thousands of devices.
Additionally, each participant receives free of charge:
- A set of samples of elements enabling the creation of a radio application (STM32WL system, IPD/balun, set of quartz crystals and passive elements, antenna, radio connector).
- STMicroelectronics development kit selected from the pool available during the training.
